For their sake of pleasure and self-love, they would betray their friends, be ruthless (reckless), very arrogant and prideful. . Paul says to stay away from these people who stick to the law and follow the law but which are far from the true meaning of righteousn ess. They’d deny the power of God since they’d be only relying on themselves. Who are verses 6-8 speaking about? Verse 6~8 speaks about evildoers and impostors who will eagerly seek for place to dwell in, especially woman who are gullible and full of their own sins. Just like Jannes and Jambres who opposed Moses, they will be notable in the eyes of God, and their ways would not go far.They’d appear as if they are â€Å"righteous† and knows the truth about God, but the core difference would be their action to the faith which would be absent to them. In The Bhagavad-Gita, Arjuna exhibits disobedience through his initial decision not to engage in combat on the battlefield, and he also discards his duties and obligations as a warrior through this protest. His personal morality motivated him to act justly, but does not validate his decision not to fight. Although disobedience may provide cultures opportunities to evaluate situations holistically, it often disavows its own consequences. As time progressed and the human race evolved, so did technology and industrialization. During the late eighteenth and early nineteenth century, industrial revolutions took place all over the planet, spreading new technology and ethics all throughout the world. Even though the rapid increase in mechanics and machinery seemed to be beneficial for humans, they were unaware of the repercussions industrialization had on the well-being of the oceans. New problems arose along with the amount of industrial activity. Through these actions Brooks is able to explore the strength of one’s beliefs and morals in distressing situations. Anna selflessly works to help the village in all she can do to help fight the plague. Throughout the plague year Anna flourishes. Despite the tragedy of her two sons and husband passing she moves on with her life and give it to helping others. anna develops a sense of identity and independence and begins to step up over the patriarchal standards of women at that time, questioning her faith and society. Crisis of the plague also brought about evil, along with those people who exploit the situation of death, fear and suffering. Jos exploits the villagers who are already suffering immensely, he buries people alive, takes their money and household goods. He shows no regard for humanity in his immoral behavior and is clearly driven by greed and his own selfish desires. Fear and tragedy can do many things to people. In Year of Wonders fear brought out the best and the worst in people. The villagers feared death and loss which was a powerful emotion.
